It was Jamie's birthday, and the boys hand-made special cards for her (literally!):
While they were here, we had many adventures, including feeding some of the boys' first meals:
Listening to music:
Hiking on Table Mountain:
Bath Time:
And multiple walks and romps outdoors!
The weather was beautiful (which was great, since coming from San Diego, they have high standards for weather) and we really enjoyed the healthy, well rounded meals they cooked for us (since our dinners more often involve PB&J than actual vegetables or entrees...)
The boys love their grandparents, and since we can't wait to see them again, we are already planning our first trip with the twins to San Diego this summer. Now if we can only figure out how to fit our entire house, with all the baby gear we depend on for day to day sanity, inside a carry-on...

These little guys are soooo cute!!! Can't wait for you to visit SD :)
ReplyDeleteCar seats and strollers don't count as carry-ons and are free. I brought only enough bottles for 2-3 feedings and those I stuffed with socks or other small clothes to maximize space. I washed the bottles after every meal so I didn't have to bring all of them. I had my Dad talk to the people at his church and borrowed high chairs and pack and plays from them. I hear baby botiques (like the Eco in Chico or Apple Blossom) will let you rent or borrow stuff so thats less stuff to buy! I have flown twice with the twins to Maryland now and the last time we didn't check any bags but brought everything carry-on!
