The First Four Months of Pregnancy

Hello babies!

I finally have the energy and time to start a blog! Yes!

Well, the first four months have been interesting. Shortly after we found out we were pregnant with twins, my mom gave me a card that said "pregnancy is the happiest reason ever for feeling like crap". That pretty much sums it up!

Since we found out, which simultaneously feels like one day and one year ago, I've been going through alot of changes. Emotionally, I've felt elation, disbelief, endless gratitude, fear, anxiety, and, more and more, excitement that its really happening! Physically, I was very fortunate not to have much morning sickness, as mine thankfully limited itself to a small amount of nausea, some serious food aversions (who in their right mind would even think about eating a hamburger??? yuck!) and a little light headedness. Unfortunately, I've also had to deal wtih digestion that is slower than I was as a teenager getting ready in the morning, making it almost painful to eat more than a few bites. Now that I'm showing more (alot more...) its disconcerting and exciting at the same time to see my belly grow, but I think I am finally out of the "is she pregnant or fat?" stage, and I'm really happy about that! Now if I could only find some maternity clothes that fit and didn't cost a fortune....

Physically, both the twins and I are doing great, they are so amazing to see with their little fingers and toes and twists and turns. I can't be sure I've felt them yet, but I know I will soon, and I can't wait! They truely are little miracles, and we are so blessed to have them!

  1. Oops! I just noticing that I'm posting as Cameron. Oh well, too lazy to change that now:-) How did I not know you had this blog until now!?!?
Love all the pictures of your little cutie-pies. When they are old enough to have Sonya come and snuggle them, let me know. We'd love to meet the squishy little guys!
